FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: self-propelled surface-underwater island-seadrome is made of glass foam (sponge glass) in the form of island, comprising two tight buildings and ballast compartment, with the possibility of functional devices together with buildings to submerge under water, move on surface of water and underneath. Roof of one of buildings is made with equipped takeoff and landing strip. Floatage of surface part is provided up to 48.5 thousand tons. Buildings have production and service premises, laboratories, two depth-controlled swimming pools without waves, beaches, sports premises, fields, tracks, four foundations, 15 sluice chambers for exit into water massif and to bottom, and also restaurants, cafes, shops, saunas. Power supply is provided from solar batteries, electric motors make it possible to move vertically and horizontally with space orientation through GLONASS and GPS systems, for instance, following specified route of flora and fauna viewing. Three safety systems are provided for submergences of up to 30 m, also in case of stormy weather.
EFFECT: invention provides for multifunctionality of self-propelled floating island in coastal or neutral waters.
