SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic works. Proposed self-propelled surface-submerged island comprises building and ballast compartment made from gas concrete. Island area makes 31400 sq.m. Note here that proposed island is designed for dwelling of up to persons. Island is provided with GPS and GLONASS systems. There are athletic fields, running and walking tracks, beach, adjustable-depth swimming pool and fountains. Island can be submerged to 30 m, and to move in surface and submerged positions.
EFFECT: improved working and recreation conditions for personnel.
