FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemistry, particularly, to electrolysers intended for producing oxygen-hydrogen mixes, i.e. oxyhydrogen gas, by water electrolysis. Proposed device comprises housing filled with electrolyte and accommodating cylindrical current conducting bar arranged along housing axis. In fact, rod surface makes a cathode and housing inner surface makes an anode. Said current conducting bar is either galvanically short-circuited to the housing or connected therewith via DC source. Impeller driven by external drive is arranged inside the housing and aligned therewith. To discharge electrolysis products and replenishment of water and electrolyte stock, proposed device incorporates feed and discharge channels.
EFFECT: high inertial filed acting on electrolyte, thus producing intensive ion separation and gas release in electrochemical reaction, and increasing device efficiency.
