FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions pertains to electro chemistry. The method of obtaining hydrogen and products of oxidation of aluminium involves electrolysis in a centrifugal field through mixture of water and aluminium powder, treatment with ultrasound and passing the mixture through a series of vertical cone shaped plates, joined together after one plate, forming a group of anode electrodes and a group of cathode electrodes. The device comprises an electrolysis cell with a hollow case and electrodes inside it, fixed on an axis with provision for rotation together with the axis of the actuator, a system for pumping electrolyte through channels in the hollow case, outlet of electrolyte and outlet of liquid electrolysis products, an ultrasonic generator with an ultrasonic transmitter, outlet channel for gaseous electrolysis products and a system for applying voltage to the electrodes. The electrodes are in form of cone-shaped plates, held by an electrode holder, fixed on a vertical axis, and connected to each other after one electrode, with formation of heteropolar groups of electrodes, one of which is the cathode and the other, the anode. The electrodes are enclosed by the case from netting, joined to a group of plates, which is the anode. In the case there is a channel for feeding expendable material, in form of aluminium material, into the case, in the lower zone of which, between the inner surface of the wall of the case and the case from the netting, there is chamber for collecting products of oxidation of aluminium, joined to the outlet channel of these products.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption and obtaining hydrogen and products of oxidation of aluminium at the same time.
