FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, namely, to method of locking rock-breaking tool teeth made from hard alloy or synthetic diamonds in large-diameter drill tools. Proposed method comprises fitting teeth shanks in case blunt holes and locking them therein between sidewalls of bores and rock-breaking teeth outer surface. Proposed method differs from known methods in that tapered inner or outer surface sleeves are used to come in contact with tapered side surfaces of bores or tapered surfaces of teeth shanks, and feature OD and ID varying at axial load transmitted via tooth working head to aforesaid sleeve. Note here that tooth working head features diametre larger than that of sleeve maximum ID, and that said sleeve is fitted with limited axial motion.
EFFECT: higher reliability of teeth locking, hence, reduced drilling costs.
