SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas industry, and namely to fishing devices intended to eliminate the accident with drill pipes in well mainly of large diameter. Device includes hollow housing, ball gripping elements connected to the housing with flexible links, stock with centring cone installed in the housing cavity and spring-loaded relative to housing with calibrated spring and connected to hoisting mechanism arranged on the well head by means of cable hanger, and carrier bush arranged on the housing with possibility of axial movement and having cover and guide cone to interact with ball gripping elements, braking element and axial channel for cable hanger. Cover of carrier bush has through channels, and assembly of its braking is made in the form of valves arranged in through channels of the cover.

EFFECT: increasing safety of works and reducing accident elimination costs.
