FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: device for purification of exhaust gases consists of exhaust port (15) that contains a catalyst (5) for the passage of exhaust gases released by the engine (1) outside and a curve (15a) formed by bending of exhaust port (15) part immediately before the catalyst (5). Note that the curve (15a) causes the collision of exhaust gases, released by the engine, with angular part (A) between input end surface (5a) of the catalyst (5) and part of exhaust port wall that goes outside from the curve. The device also includes additive agent injection valve (23) installed outside the curve (15a) of exhaust port (15). Note that additive agent injection is performed immediately above the angular part (A) at such an angle that additive agent flow deviates from catalyst axis towards the side opposite the other side towards which exhaust gases flow is deviated.

EFFECT: performance will allow improvement of catalyst characteristics.
