FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gyroscopic equipment, namely, to correction of gyroscope drift with rotor on spherical ball bearing support. Gyroscope drift is measured twice: during operation of motor in synchronous mode (ω1) and immediately after disconnection of motor supply and demagnetisation of hysteresis ring of rotor (ω2), and gyroscope drift that depends on torque of electromagnetic field (ω), is defined using formula ω=ω1-ω2 (1). Ferromagnetic mass of stator is removed in area corresponding to direction of drift, which is identified by sign of ω (1). Device to detect drift of gyroscope with synchronous hysteresis motor, comprising stator, rotor on spherical ball bearing support and angle sensor, included serially joined driving oscillator and inverter, outlet of which is connected to electric motor of gyroscope, metre, condenser, connected in parallel to supply bus of inverter, and two switches.
EFFECT: invention provides for correction of gyroscope drift depending on torque of electromagnetic field developed by stator, which in the end increases accuracy parameters of gyroscopic instrument.
