FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile material science, applicable to assessment of materials properties for clothes in case of bending in textile and light industry. Method includes mechanical fixation of sample by one end in vertical plane and its fixation with the other end in clamp so that this sample bends around holder, having taken shape of half-cylinder, and after release from bending force it makes free damped oscillations in vertical plane, assessment of sample resilience by average speed of its extension after bend, sample rest in active mediums for 5-15 minutes, changing it into highly resilient condition, with subsequent assessment of forced elasticity by reduction of residual angle of sample deviation from initial vertical position after introduction of active medium and plasticity by angle of sample deviation from initial vertical line after rest in active medium.
EFFECT: improved information value and reliability of detection.
