FIELD: physics, radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is meant for use as a transceiving antenna together with broadband ultra-short wave radio stations. The ultra-short wave vibrator consists of a metal plate (MP) (1) placed vertically over the conducting surface (CS) (2), where the metal plate is in rhomb-shaped, whose height H satisfies the inequality H≥0.18λmax, where λmax is the greatest wavelength of the working range of the waves, and angle α = 60°-80° at its sharp corners. One of the sharp corners is connected to the centre conductor of a coaxial feeder (3), the screen cladding of which is connected to the CS (2). The blunt corners of the MP (1) are connected to conductors (4) of a capacitive load (CCL) which are curved and lie in the plane of the MP 1. Outer ends of the CCL are adjacent to the vertex of the MP 1.
EFFECT: reduction in height of the device without deterioration of matching quality.
