FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: ultra-short wave (USW) band dipole consists of a hollow metal cone 1 with height HHMC and apex angle α, an additional metal cone 2 with height HAMC and apex angle β and a hollow truncated metal cone 3 with height HHTMC=HAMC and apex angle γ. The hollow metal cone 1 is placed vertically over a conducting surface 4 and faces said surface with its apex. The additional metal cone 2 and the hollow truncated metal cone 3 are coaxially placed in the cavity of the hollow metal cone 1. The additional metal cone 2 is placed in the cavity of the hollow truncated metal cone 3. The aperture planes of the smaller base of the hollow truncated metal cone 3, the hollow metal cone 1 and the apex of the additional metal cone 2 are superimposed. The larger base of the hollow truncated metal cone 3 is congruent to the base of the additional metal cone 2. Both bases are superimposed with each other and are electrically connected to the inner surface of the hollow metal cone 1. A coaxial feeder 5 is connected by the centre conductor to the apex of the hollow metal cone 1, and by the screening cover to the conducting surface 4.
EFFECT: forming an undistorted beam shape and reducing the electrical dimensions of the dipole.
