FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment and, in particular, a conical asymmetric vibrator (CAV) may be used as a receiving and/or transmitting very high-frequency (VHF) antenna jointly with wide-range VHF radio stations. The conical asymmetric vibrator comprises a hollow metal vessel (HMV) with height H and with an angle α at the top, installed vertically above a conducting surface and facing it with its top, an additional metal cone (AMC) with height h and with an angle at the top β, installed coaxially with HMV, a coaxial feeder, a central core of which is connected to the top of HMV, and an outer conductor - to a conducting surface, AMC is installed inside HMV. The top of AMC matches the plane of HMV opening. The AMC base is electrically connected with the inner surface of HMV. Optimal ratios of sizes of antenna structure elements are determined in the form of mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: reduced electric dimensions.
