FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: application: in the field of electrical engineering. Multiphase system of power supply comprises n p-phase diode rectifier sets, n autonomous voltage inverters with sinusoid width-pulse modulation, connected by input leads to source of DC voltage, and with output leads - to primary windings of n three-phase matching transformers, besides, secondary phase windings of matching transformers are connected phase by phase serially with network windings of conversion transformers of rectifier sets, output voltages of autonomous inverters are changed by simultaneous variation of amplitudes and phases of sinusoid modulating voltages, besides, amplitudes and phases of sinusoidal modulating voltages of autonomous voltage inverters are determined under condition of preservation of symmetry of system of resulting primary voltages of all sets with angles of phase shift between identical resulting primary phase voltages of single rectifier set relative to the other one, equal to
EFFECT: simplified system of power supply, reduction of its harmonic effect at supply grid and load, and also optimised mode of system operation by consumption of reactive power from supply grid.
