FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking. Proposed method comprises impregnation by preserving composition comprising liquid or water-soluble organic ammonium carboxylate of formula 1: [NR¹R²R³R⁴]⁺ _n [R⁵(COO)_n]^-n (1), where R¹ _; R² and R³ are selected from the group including hydrogen, substituted or not substituted alkyls containing 1-6 atoms of carbon, R⁵ is hydrogen substituted or not substituted hydrocarbyl containing 1-6 atoms of carbon, R⁴ is substituted or not substituted alkyl, containing 1-6 atoms of carbon, and n is integer varying from 1 to 6. Note here that wood is impregnated preserving composition comprising liquid or water-soluble organic ammonium carboxylate of formula 1 to content of organic ammonium carboxylate making, at least, 100 kg/m³ pet initial weight of wood. Preserving composition comprises additionally microcid active ingredient made up of the mix of or the product of reaction between organic salt and active ingredient of organic acid. Active ingredient organic salt is selected from the group including salts of alkaline, alkaline-earth metals and ammonium with aromatic acids, salts of alkaline, alkaline-earth metals and ammonium with aliphatic and aromatic sulphoacids, and acid salts of amines. Active ingredient organic acid is selected from the group comprising aromatic carbonate and sulphate acids, fat acids, organic hydro acids and their oligomers and chelating acids.
