SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building. proposed stairway comprises upper and lower sections, rotary assembly, first support made up of movable carriage and second support made up of rotary reversing link. Lower section is pivoted onto rotary assembly. The latter is arranged on the carriage, jointed thereto by vertical axle. Said carriage is furnished with rollers to move in guides secured on the deck. Reversing link is arranged at the ship bow part and jointed to the deck via vertical axle to slide over smooth sector. Upper section moves over the lower section. For this, upper section stringer is provided with flanges and skids while upper section stringer is furnished with supports with rollers. Handrails are arranged in each section of stairway.

EFFECT: compact design, possibility to feed stairway at various angles in vertical and horizontal planes.
