FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of at least one loading hopper with discharge port and of mechanism for material distribution located under hopper. The centre of the discharge port is set off relative to central axis of the shaft furnace. The mechanism for distribution of material consists of a feeding channel coaxial to the central axial line of the furnace and of rotary and turning chute positioned under the feeding channel. The loading device also contains a connection box made in form of a funnel with inclined internal walls. The connection box has a lower discharge orifice communicating with the feeding channel and at least one upper inlet orifice with its centre set off relative to central axis of the furnace. The loading device consists of at least one divider arranged upstream the distributing mechanism on trajectory of material unloaded from the discharge port.

EFFECT: centred trajectory of fall at loading material along axis of furnace.
