FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of heating the surface of a circular flat bottom of a fixed thin-wall vertical cylindrical vessel from the outside, infrared radiation is directed onto said surface of the bottom, where said radiation is set by the spectrum of maximum frequency of infrared radiation through the incandescent spiral of an electrical mirror infrared incandescent lamp, by placing the lamp under the bottom coaxially with the vessel with the bulb to the heated surface of the bottom, and radiation reflected from this surface is returned to it on its entire perimetre through an annular reflector which is fixed around the lamp bulb and encircling the bottom. The entire vessel or its bottom is made from stainless unpolished steel which contains chromium and nickel.
EFFECT: low power consumption during heating, easy realisation of the method, high reliability and longevity.
