FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: according to procedure drying cylinder is heated from inside with pointed, compared to dimensions of cylinder proper sources of directed infrared radiation, for example, electric lamps IK3-250. This radiation is directed radially to internal cylinder surface of the cylinder (drum) from its axis. Radiators are stationary and even distributed in rows on retractable (replaceable) straps. The straps are stationary set along flat facets of fixed axle. The axle performs limited turns with successive fixation in its guides. The radiators are connected with wiring inside the cylinder (drum) to external electric network via a voltage regulator. The fixed axle is transformed into a source of additional electromagnetic radiation with industrial frequency of voltage of alternate current. As a conductor the axle is connected to electric circuit of radiators and it is electrically insulated from a case of the cylinder (drum). The retractable straps are made in form of a pair of parallel electro-conducting bus bars, one wider, than another and tightly interconnected by means of dielectric partitions. Number of partitions per a unit exceeds number of the radiators in the row. In the bus bars between the partitions there are made through coaxial orifices. A threaded orifice for an electric lamp base is made in a narrow bus bar, while a conic orifice for a lower contact of the base is made in a wide bus bar. Bases of the radiators are tightly and stationary set (screwed) into the orifices. The narrow bus bars are electrically connected with phase wires, while the wide bus bars are arranged (pushed) into fixed guides on flat facets of the axle. The axle in its turn is electrically connected with a zero wire of electric power of the radiators. Additionally, a cylinder wall of the cylinder (drum) is made of steel apart from iron containing not less, than 12 % of chromium. A uniform layer of thermo-resistant silicon-organic paint is applied on internal cylinder surface. Flat facets of the fixed axle are made of aluminium alloy with polishing their external surfaces. The bus bars of retractable (replaceable) straps are made of the same alloy. At least three through windows are made in one of cylinder bottoms. Dimensions of windows are suitable for insertion and removal of retractable electric bus bars with radiators from the cylinder. Before and during cylinder (drum) operation the windows are closed with removable covers.
EFFECT: essentially simplified design, increased reliability and service life of operations, reduced electric power output for heating and simplified maintenance of device.
