FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telescopic device of lengthy shape, for instance, table leg, and is aimed at stable and rigid connection of inner and outer parts in various relative longitudinal positions. Telescopic device of lengthy shape comprises tubular outer part and inner part inserted in it with possibility of displacement in longitudinal direction and protruding from it. Inner part comprises wedge slot at its outer side passing in longitudinal direction with meeting slantwise inside side walls, and outer part - wedge element entering wedge slot with inclined sides relative to side walls of wedge slot. Wedge element is arranged with the possibility of displacement by means of actuating device arranged on outer part between weakened position, providing for possibility to control relative longitudinal position of outer and inner parts, and pressed position, causing pressure of inner and outer parts due to wedge element displacement inside wedge slot.

EFFECT: actuating device comprises actuating element installed with the possibility of displacement in through hole arranged in external part and connected to wedge element with the help of connecting facilities.
