FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for forging disk-like pieces, for example, for gas turbine disks or those of railway wheels. Proposed method comprises swaging out and forming. Primary swaging out of the billet by plates with axial bores is performed along with extrusion of journals on said biller. Then, billet with journals is subjected to secondary swaging out along with pressing the journals into the billet to produce the disk forging piece of disk with journals or smooth disk. Thus, alternating flows of billet metal plastic flows are formed with successive alternation of flow direction along lengthwise and radial axes.
EFFECT: disk forging with high macro structure.
