FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used to produce gas turbine rotor disks for thermal and nuclear power stations. Barrel workpiece is formed by incomplete piercing of round billet bottom part. Complete piercing is used to press off the metal billet sinkhead into backing ring hole. Tag is formed on barrel bottom. Said tag is cut off into waste metal. Now, the barrel billet if formed to preset final sizes of rotor disk. Finally, barrel walls are expanded and developed to produce flat ring.
EFFECT: high-quality disks from steel and alloy billets.
