FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed holder to be mounted in machine tool block comprises base and cutter with wedge joint arranged there between. It incorporates adjusting screw, while base represents a lengthwise wedge with ledge made on its tail to receive holder pressure screw. Cutter has inclined support surface in contact with wedge and elongated threaded hole to receive adjusting screw locked in said hole. Note here that said base is provided with "П"-like plate spring with its one end arranged in said elongated slot below the base and the other one resting upon the cutter.

EFFECT: simplified design, higher stiffness and accuracy of adjustment.
