FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fire-resistant articles, specifically to compositions for making refractory lining elements used in making tunnel kiln cars for roasting ceramic articles, as well as refractory articles, particularly used in casting blades from heat-resistant alloys for gas-turbine engines, specifically: crucibles, boxes, protective cups, casting moulds and rods with complex shapes, with burning temperature of 1550-1600°C. The mixture for making refractory articles contains mullite-containing material in form of a mixture of fused mullite and scrap mullite-corundum articles, as well as alumina and additionally waste from moulding mullite-corundum articles, with the following ratio of components, wt %: fused mullite with particle size less than 0.2 mm 20-30; scrap mullite-corundum articles 45-65; alumina Gk 15-25; wastes from moulding mullite-corundum articles with particle size not greater than 4.0 mm 5-20 (over 100%). Scrap mullite-corundum articles include the following fractions (wt %): 4.0-1.0 mm 60.0-100.0; 1.0-0.2 mm 0-40.0.
EFFECT: high thermal resistance and working temperature of the material, while ensuring strength of the material.
