FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to manufacture points for joints and crossings of railroad track, being elements of switch of pointwork, by means of their mechanical processing, when points are bent and gouged. Pointwork switch elements are worn rectilinear points, and/or worn curvilinear points of ordinary pointworks, and/or worn curvilinear points of symmetrical pointworks, having passed through flaw detection. Worn rectilinear points of ordinary pointworks are heated, bent and gouged to depth providing for adjacency to rectilinear frame rails. Worn curvilinear points of ordinary pointworks are truncated to length of points of symmetrical pointworks of grade 1/6 of receiving-departure or inclined tracks, and they are gouged to depth, providing for their coupling with curvilinear frame rails. Worn curvilinear points of symmetrical pointworks of grade 1/6 of receiving-departure tracks are truncated to length of points of symmetrical pointworks of grade 1/6 of inclined tracks, and they are gouged to depth, providing for their coupling with appropriate curvilinear frame rails.

EFFECT: improved resource of points serviceability.
