COLLAPSIBLE COMBINED TRESTLEWORK Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC E01D18/00

Abstract RU 2412301 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: collapsible combined trestlework for installation of cables and/or pipelines with distance between supports of up to 24 metres comprises vertical supports and horizontal runs, cable structures, cross beams with replaceable platforms for sliding supports of pipelines, internal service platform, installed when required. Vertical supports and horizontal runs, representing triangular space trusses with spacer tubular diagonals, are formed from set of sections with various length from 1.5 and to 6.0 m, joined to each other by means of bolt joints. Vertical supports are connected to foundation at one side, and at the other side - to upper mounting frames, horizontal runs are fixed to upper mounting frames, transverse mounting section bars are fixed to lower pipes of horizontal runs with brackets, stands with height of up to 3.0 m are fixed to mounting section bars by T-bolts, cantilevers for cable stairs are fixed to stands by T-bolts, transverse cross beams with detachable platforms for sliding supports of pipelines are fixed to lower pipes of horizontal runs. Due to unavailability of fixed areas of horizontal runs fixation to upper mounting frames of supports, there is no necessity in rigid linkage of foundation coordinates to length of horizontal runs, which provides for higher flexibility in design. Due to fixation of horizontal runs to upper transition frames by yokes and transverse cross beams to horizontal runs, and also due to use of screwless connectors of cable stairs mounted on horizontal runs, and also sectional clamps of cable stairs to cantilevers and oval holes for bolt connection in bases of stands, there are no points of stresses concentration in structure due to temperature deformations.

EFFECT: using sliding T-shaped bolts to install transverse cross beams, stands and cantilevers makes it possible to even location and horizontal level of cable structures during installation and operation, and to repeatedly use T-bolts, if required to disassemble combined trestlework for transfer to a different area of installation.
