FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: aero-dynamic silencer consists of inlet branch and of case rigidly attached to branch and containing elements out of porous material. The case has a base made as a cartridge with a collar in its upper part. At least two elements of sound absorbing structure interact with the cartridge. These elements correspond to cylinder perforated coaxial external and internal bushings. Positioned between them the sound absorber is made at least out of one profiled porous sheet; also, the profile of the sheet in cross section can be trapezoidal or sinusoidal.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of noise suppression.
