FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: aerodynamic damper consists of inlet branch and of case rigidly connected to branch. The case contains elements out of porous material, a branch made in form of one of side covers of the case and noise absorbing structure rigidly attached to the side cover. The noise absorbing structure corresponds to cylinder perforated coaxial internal and external bushings. The sound absorber is positioned between these bushings and is made out of at least one profiled porous sheet. Also, profile of the sheet in cross section can be rectangular and trapezoidal.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of noise suppression.
