FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: in honeycomb plate-type heat exchanger containing the frame pressed with angular profile, pack of conjugated aluminium plates with flanged edges and spacer inserts with formation of channels for working media on horizontal surface of plates, space inserts in the form of honeycombs have the shape of flattened hemispheres located in pairs with alteration of convexity and concavity at the distance of 2 mm from each other on horizontal surface of plates, as well as located one under the other and combined in the centre in vertical direction of conjugated plates bonded to each other at the joint of honeycombs with high-temperature sealant with concavity-concavity, convexity-convexity alteration; at that, minimum diametre of honeycomb - flattened hemisphere is 4-6 mm, and maximum diametre of honeycomb - flattened hemisphere is 10-30 mm. Besides, honeycomb plate-type heat exchanger has flanged edges of plates, which are made at an angle of 45°.

EFFECT: increasing rigidity and strength of construction and cleaning efficiency of heat exchanger from contaminants.
