SUBSTANCE: method to process pocket in order to transform clothes or equipment consists in the fact that oppositely arranged inner and outer off-set welts are stitched to point of location, entrance to a pocket is cut, pocket parts are turned out to face side of an item, and ends of pocket entrance are fixed. Simultaneously with off-set welts, braid-zipper is stitched, which has previously been expanded by means of welts, and is arranged between off-set welts. Either pocket lining is stitched to allowances of seams, or another braid-zipper expanded by means of stitching is sewed on to connect removable lining of pocket, to entrance of which a third braid-zipper is stitched. Entrance to a pocket at the reverse side is stitched around perimetre.

EFFECT: invention provides for tightness of entrance to a pocket, and also eliminates chances of losing an additional item.
