FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. An instrument for installation of an endoprosthesis with a neck having a cone, and with a leg inserted into a medullary space has a clamp provided with a retaining jaw and a counter-support which are designed to fix the endoprosthesis in its compressed condition and to release it in its unclasped condition and which constantly accommodates a guide rail for an impact element of an impact device which is directed in such a manner that a preset motion path of the impact element is directed on a face surface of the endoprosthesis placed in the clamp. The counter-support (26) interacts with an end face (16) of the cone (13).
EFFECT: invention enables simplified installation of the endoprosthesis with its reliable arrangement in an exactly preset position.
