FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to anesthesiology and cardiology, and can be used if it is necessary to protect patients' systems and organs from ischemic and reperfusion injuries during operational intervention. For this purpose pure air is supplied into closed contour of anesthesia and respiratory apparatus at rate 200-250 ml/min. Reduction of oxygen in inhaled gas mixture to 10% is achieved due to absorption of oxygen by patient's organism. After that specified concentration of oxygen in respiratory mixture is supported for 5-6 minutes, for which purpose supply of fresh gas is continued at the same rate, but with content of oxygen being 80-85%.
EFFECT: method allows to ensure adequate hypoxic preconditioning of vital organs in patient intraoperationally without application for this purpose of hypoxiacators, balloons with nitrogen and special equipment for inhalation.
