FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and namely to first aid and medical health care and emergency medical care. The respiratory system of the patient is exposed to an artificial gas-air mixture (AGAM) with increased argon content of at least 30 vol. %. Inhalation is carried out providing the influence of the AGAM continuously throughout the entire procedure. In this case, the patient is exposed to inhalation with the help of an inhalation individual device in which an artificial argon-containing gas environment with increased oxygen content and with the addition of xenon is created: xenon 1-10 vol. %, argon 30-35 vol. %, oxygen 60-65 vol. %. In a particular case, the patient with an acute ischemic attack is exposed to the artificial gas-air mixture of the specified composition mainly at the stage of first aid before being taken to the hospital. If necessary, the patient with an acute ischemic attack is exposed to the artificial gas-air mixture of the specified composition during the patient's reanimation in a hospital setting. In a particular case, the patient is exposed to the artificial gas-air mixture of the specified composition for 20-40 minutes or more at least until the arrival of the ambulance team. In a particular case, a face mask, respirator or mouthpiece connected to a cylinder with an oxygen-argon-xenon gas mixture of the specified composition can be used as an individual inhalation device.
EFFECT: method reduces the risk and slows down the development of acute cerebral stroke and myocardial infarction for 20-40 minutes or more before the arrival of the ambulance team.
