FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to non-ferrous metallurgy, particularly, to compositions of temporary coating and can be implemented for protection of alloys from oxidation at heating for hot deformation and for lubricating contact surfaces of deformed material and tool. Coating consists of two layers of enamel applied by spraying or with a brush. Between the layers there is inserted an intermediate layer of porous sintered granules of brown coal formed at heating of metal blank to temperature of 700-1100°C. As solid substance there is used Kuznetsk or brown coal, also there can be used saw dust treated with solution of mineral substances.
EFFECT: coating of high heat insulating properties, production of dies of various configuration of specified geometry, increased resistance of tool and elimination of intermediate operations at coating application.
