SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transport. Proposed is a method for manufacturing a brake disc for a vehicle involving placing a protective layer on the base body of the brake disc. Said base body is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. Said method includes the pretreatment of the friction surfaces of the base body when it is still a blank. Then, an enamel coating is applied as a layer of protection against corrosion and / or wear on the friction surfaces of the brake disc. After that, the base body coated in some places is treated, while the enamel coating is metallurgically combined with the base material of the base body.
EFFECT: improved resistance to corrosion and increased service life period is achieved.
