Proposed method comprises tracking shaft rpm t p.t.o.-coupling input and output, intermittent linear p.t.o.-coupling pressure reduction to coupling slippage, determining programmed pressure at slippage origination point, computing engine equivalent power depending upon programmed pressure at slippage.
EFFECT: reduced power losses in control by auxiliary drive.
