FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detection of trajectories of air objects by means of radar stations of all-round surveillance with antenna made in the form of phased antenna array (PAA) with mechanical azimuth rotation. In object trajectory finding method in the specified azimuth sector as per criterion of k/m+p/n type, the surveying of the specified azimuth sector is performed on each turn of antenna as per Ko subsequent surveys with change of rotation direction of antenna; at that, the specified azimuth sector is surveyed for Ko times on each turn of antenna, and Ko value is determined from the following equation: where n, m - the specified number of turns to the object at the beginning and confirmation stage of the object trajectory respectively; k, p - the specified minimum number of object detections at the beginning and confirmation stage of trajectory respectively.

EFFECT: shortening time interval between turns to objects outside the specified azimuth sector.
