FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: glasses have a housing, left- and right-hand side glasses, first and second electronically controlled shutters and an infrared receiver inside the housing of the glasses. The left- and right-hand side glasses are hollow and the first and second electronically controlled shutters lie inside the said glasses, respectively. Each of the shutters has four identical piezoelectric transducers, each having a bimorphous tubular piezoelectric element. A rectangular shaped opaque fine-meshed screen is attached to the piezoelectric element. A unit of pulse amplifiers, comprising two series-connected pulse generating circuits, is connected to the output of the infrared receiver and is placed in the housing of the 3D glasses. The first and second outputs of the first pulse generating circuit are respectively connected to the first and second control inputs of the piezoelectric transducers in the first electronically controlled shutter. The first and second outputs of the second pulse generating circuit are respectively connected to the first and second control inputs of the piezoelectric transducers in the second electronically controlled shutter.
EFFECT: high transparency of the 3D glasses and low response time of the electronically controlled shutters.
