FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. For predicting individual vocal capabilities, genetic factors, such as qualitative and quantitative values of fingerprints of manual patterns of both hands are studied. A Volotsky deltoid index (DL10) under formula DL10=(L+2W/A+L+W)×10, where L is one-triradius loops, W is coils, A is no-triradius arches. If the Volotsky deltoid index is within 11.2±0.3, total crest count is 58.5±0.2; as well as if observing an ulnar loop on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers, a coil or an ulnar loop on the 2nd finger of a right hand; an ulnar loop on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers of a left hand, a coil or a radial loop on the 2nd finger of a left hand, the presence of individual vocal capabilities is predicted.
EFFECT: method is noninvasive, enables mass screening of large groups of people, can be applied as a secondary method in vocational guidance, vocational selection, vocational prediction in voice professions.
