SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to otolaryngology. In order to predict risk of development of chronic hyperplastic laryngitis qualitative and quantitative parameters of dermatographic patterns of both hands are examined with taking into account sex dimorphism. Delta index of Volotskoy is (DL₁₀) is calculated by formula DL₁₀=(L+2W/A+L+W)×10, where A is arches that have triradius, L is loops, which have one triradius, W is whorls, which have two triradii. If value of delta index of Volotskoy in men is 12.4±0.6, total crest score equals 152.7±2.9, and ulnar loop is present on one of fingers - on 3, 5 fingers of right hand and 1, 3, 4, 5 fingers of left hand, and if delta index of Volotskoy in women is 11.6±0.5, ulnar loop is present on one of fingers - on 1, 3, 5 fingers of right hand and 1, 5 finger of right hand of examined people, risk of disease development is predicted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict risk of development of chronic hyperplastic laryngitis by dermatoglyphic signs.
