SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine. To diagnose predisposition to occupational diseases of respiratory apparatus scanning of both patient's palms, processing of obtained data and determination of dermatoglyphic picture parameters are carried out. In case of presence of such signs as: loop or loop with additional triradius in zone between digits 3 and 4 of both hands, small number of hand lines on both hands, ridge count on digit 4 of left hand (LH) is lower than 10, loop on the fifth digit of right hand (RH), palm ridge count be RH 29-37, palm ridge count cd of RH 32-41, ridge count on the second digit of RH is lower than 12, on the third digit of RH ulnar loop or whorl determine presence of genetic predisposition to silicosis. If such signs as: the first or the fifth type of palm lines on LH, palm ridge count be of RH to 30, ridge count on the first digit of RH is lower than 15, direction of end of main palm line D of both hands is in field 7 and 9, medium and large number of palm lines of LH, direction of end of main palm line A of RH is in field 5, 11 and 13, presence of arch on the first digit of LH, presence of loop in zone between the second and third digits of both hands, palm ridge count cd of LH is lower than 35, ridge count on the fourth digit of LH is lower than 10, presence of arch or radial loop on the second digit of LH determine presence of genetic predisposition to chronic dust bronchitis.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to diagnose predisposition to silicosis and chronic dust bronchitis by parameters of dermatoglyphic picture of hands.
