FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of materials and may be used in surface cleaning without damaging article base. Hydroabrasive suspension is subjected to compressed gas flow at 200 m/s to produce suspension flow in the form of aerosol particles. Said suspension flow is fed into nozzle and, there through, onto machined surface. Swirled suspension flow is produced at nozzle outlet in the form of axially converging or diverging spiral inclined to nozzle axis at 5…30 degrees.
EFFECT: layer-by-layer removal of surface dirt and defects.
