FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface treatment of flat parts made of titanium alloys. The surface is cleaned from scale or oxide film with simultaneous removal of the defective surface layer of the metal by the method of jet-abrasive surface treatment with fine particles. In this case, the flat part is rigidly fixed along the inner or outer surface using a shaping tooling, then abrasive blasting is performed on the outer or inner surface of the part, respectively, with fused alumina with a particle size of 90-100 mcm at an air pressure of 2.0-2.5 bar.
EFFECT: warping of parts is excluded when preparing them for gluing.
