FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to faience mixtures which can be used in making crockery, decorative and art products. The faience mixture contains clay, kaolin, quartz sand, faience pottery fragments, electrolyte and borax which is annealed to glass state, with the following ratio of components in wt %: clay 37.9-40.95; kaolin 25.0-27.0; quartz sand 25.0-27.0; faience pottery fragments 1.0-2.0; electrolyte 0.05-0.1; said borax 5.0-7.0. The faience mixture also 0.5-3.0 wt % contains ruddle.

EFFECT: low burning temperature of articles.
