SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of silicates, specifically to faience mixtures which can be used in making decorative and art objects, as well as household articles. The faience mixture contains the following in wt %: clay 30.0-33.0; kaolin 23.0-26.0; quartz sand 6.0-8.0; faience fragments 0.3-0.7; electrolyte 0.08-0.13; cobalt sulphate 0.02-0.03; mixture of calcium borate and borax annealed to vitreous state and taken in equal weight parts 35.6-37.15.

EFFECT: lower burning temperature of articles.
