FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to form universal massif of ice includes layer freezing of ice massif, which is carried out at the temperature of board, where ice massif is poured and frozen, selected from the interval from -9 to -14°C. Temperature of coolant circulating in specified board is established as permanent as board achieves above specified temperature, and it is not changed in process of pouring and freezing of each layer of ice massif. According to the second version of method, the first layer of ice massif is frozen by condensation of moisture from ambient air of arena area onto board. Subsequent layers are poured and frozen, using water softened in ion-exchange filter and water de-ionised in membrane filter of reverse osmosis. Subsequent layers are poured and frozen, alternating supply of softened water to form at least one layer and de-ionised water to form at least one layer of ice massif.
EFFECT: creation of universal artificial ice, having properties required for specific types of sport.
