FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for forming surface layer of ice massif consists in using water softened in ion-exchanging filter for this purpose. Upon silvering the above said surface layer of ice massif temperature of surface of ice is within ranges from -3 to -7°C. For the procedure for forming surface layer of ice massif there is used mixture of water softened in the ion-exchanging filter and water de-ionised in a membrane filter of reverse osmosis. Share of said water softened in the ion-exchanging filter is not less, than 25 % of all volume of said water mixture, while temperature of surface of ice massive upon silvering the said surface layer of ice massif is within the range from -3 to -7°C.
EFFECT: implementation of given group of inventions allows to level surface of ice at presence of organic compounds and correct effect of modified additives while simultaneously maintain properties of ice required for specific kinds of sport.
