FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for modelling focal lesions of brain contains a case which represents a hollow guiding cylinder; a cocking lever; a percussion mechanism, consisting of a rod and a replaceable bullet; a replaceable drive spring; a trigger, consisting of a lever and a tightening screw, which serves a rest to the drive spring; a rest nut for fixation of the device to external supports and rests and mounting on it of additional devices and elements. The case is made with internal thread in the upper part, which corresponds to the thread on the tightening screw, and external thread in the lower part, which corresponds to the thread on the rest nut, and has a slot for travel of the cocking level along the axis of the percussion mechanism. Heads of replaceable bullets have different configuration. Replaceable springs have different ranges of rigidity.
EFFECT: compact and dismountable construction of the device with replaceable working elements, possibility to apply injuring impact in all coordinate axes, at arbitrary angle, of specified severity and area make it universal and make it possible to apply for modelling other types of injuries under impact of kinetic energy.
