FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for creating models of post-traumatic damages of bones due to dynamic strike. Device for damaging integrity of bone has case fixed onto platform, impact rod with striker at working end, spring and trigger mechanism. Coaxial guiding channels are made at edges of case. Impact rod is mounted in those channels. Impact rod is provided with internal rest and contacting spring, both placed in case. Platform is provided with post related by "screw-nut" transmission with slide mounted onto guide. Trigger mechanism is made in form of rocks fastened to slider for turn. One end of rocks is mounted in groove of slider for contact with starting screw. Other end is provided with recess for roll at adjacent end of impact rod. Impact rod is provided with external rest to have resilient washer onto internal surface and it is equipped with removable stroke restrictor, which is mounted onto platform by edge of case. Striker is made removable and it has corresponding weight, shape and resiliency to get required impact pulse.
EFFECT: ability of modeling different types of fractures of bones.
