FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has two radiation sources with wavelengths λ1 and λ2, a focusing system, an illumination system, apparatus for positioning the focusing system, a spectrum divider, as well as a photodetector and a control unit. The radiation source with wavelength λ2 is in form of a line of diode lasers whose optical axes are parallel and lie in one plane, and the illumination system has a cylindrical lens, a focusing lens and a stabilisation circuit having a beam splitter, a second photodetector, optically interfaced with the focusing lens through the beam splitter, as well as a stabiliser which is interfaced with the focusing lens.
EFFECT: high accuracy of addressing when reading information in a multilayer optical disc.
