FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery. Device for providing intraoperational access to esophagus contains plate and handle, located at right angle to plate. Plate along its longitudinal axis is made with unilateral prominent surface with radius 25 cm. Distal end of plane is rounded. On distal end of handle, from plate side, made is cylindrical bulge with internal thread, in which parallel to plate installed is additional handle in form of hollow cylinder. Length of additional handle equals or is 3-5 cm greater than plate length. External surface of additional handle is made rough.
EFFECT: invention provides extensive intraoperational access to esophagus in region of posterior mediastinum, which makes it possible to preserve organs and tissues surrounding esophagus undamaged, as well as to carry out thorough hemostasis, with 20-30 minute reduction of operation time.
